On Friday August 9 2019, Terry Duguid, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Women and Gender Equality, on behalf of the Honourable Maryam Monsef, Minister for Women and Gender Equality, announced that the Government of Canada is investing $520,000 in West Central Women’s Resource Centre to help us grow, maintain our support to women and families, and advance gender equality.
We are one of more than 250 women’s organizations and Indigenous organizations serving women across Canada receiving a portion of the funding under the Government of Canada’s Capacity-building Fund.
