Emergency Shelters

If you have nowhere to go and no money, here is a list of shelters you can access. Please go directly to the listed addresses. Do NOT call the shelters: they cannot provide support over the phone.

Siloam Mission – 300 Princess Ave.

  • Check-in before 7:30 PM
  • Has cots to sleep on, showers, clothing access, hygiene access and a soup kitchen that provides hot meals daily.

Salvation Army – 180 Henry
Open 24/7, provides shelter to sleep.

Sonrise Family Shelter – 180 Henry
For families and single parents with children in your care who are in need of immediate shelter.

Main Street Project – 75 Martha St.

  • Open 24/7 and will provide a mat to sleep on for individuals who are highly intoxicated and need a safe place to go.
  • Will also accept individuals if there is no space at Salvation Army or Siloam.

Mainstay Transitional Housing Program – 75 Martha St.
Provides longer-term shelter at Main Street project

West End 24-Hour Safe Space for Youth – 430 Langside St.
