November 19 @ 1:00 pm - 5:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until December 17, 2019
A fun and social setting where you learn new skills & take home the things you make! Come anytime between 1:00pm- 5:30pm on Tuesdays for up to two hours of sewing. Those who are first to arrive will be the first to participate, and as people leave, others can join. Bring your own projects to work on, including clothes you want to fix, and occasionally materials will be provided by the program to make small projects and learn different skills. All experience levels welcome. A sewing teacher and volunteers will be in the room to instruct you and answer questions.
No advance registration required. If you are a permanent resident please bring your PR card or landing paper to the first class to register. If you have any questions please contact the Neighbourhood Immigrant Settlement Worker program by calling 204-774-8975 ext. 216, 219 or 225.
