An event every week that begins at 2:00pm on Saturday, repeating until March 9, 2019
In partnership with SERC (Sexuality Education Resource Centre) the WCWRC Neighbourhood Immigrant Settlement Program is offering an 8 week parenting series called “Our Families Can Talk About Anything.” Do you wonder what your children are learning about dating, relationships, and other sexuality issues from school, friends and TV?
In this workshop series you will learn how to:
Help your children deal with growing up between two cultures
Improve family communication
Help your children appreciate your culture
Help your children make good choices
Find the balance between this new culture and your own.
Offered once a week on Saturday from 2-4pm. Running from January 19th- March 9th.
Childminding, bus tokens, and snack provided. Interpretation may be provided upon request.
